These are the “hangout rooms” used for all the hangouts.
Blue Room (Primary room)
Green Room (First overflow)
Yellow Room (Second overflow)
Orange Room (Third overflow)
Red Room (For Intermediate hangouts)
Purple Room (For custom groups and ad-hoc meetings)
Group etiquette – Please be respectful of learners! We’re all at different points, and we all have different challenges. Also, if be mindful of your microphone! If you’re in a loud spot, stay on mute while others talk, and just unmute yourself when you speak. Keep in mind a little background noise can quickly ruin the experience.
If you join a room and you’re the 8th or higher person to join, you should try each overflow to figure out which one has space. If no overflow has people, you can ask 2 others to join you from the primary room, since the ideal group size is about 5 people. Just pick two people and say, “Suzzie and William, would you mind joining me in the Green room? This one is getting full and no one else is in there yet.”
